Welcome to a new season! The Sun’s arrival in Aries yesterday kicked off a new astrological year. Aries is new beginnings, fresh starts, and the courage to take action. Things are moving. With Mars in Taurus, this Aries Season will focus on stability, safety.
Yes, the Aries Sun is pointing towards Taurus, which means that in order to move forward we need to feel safe, that we can trust that the earth beneath our feet can hold us. Do we have the resources we need in this new season? Do we have enough?
Keep in mind, Uranus is in Taurus, too, so Aries Season stirs up some of the changes that Uranus in Taurus is asking of us … or at least pushing the story forward. We may feel like the tectonic plates of our lives are moving this month as well as April.
Change requires bravery and courage. It’s interesting that, as we move into Aries Season, the Sun comes up to a conjunction to Chiron tomorrow, March 22. Are we feeling emotional about the courage needed to move forward? Have we had experiences in our past when we had to have the bravery to leave something that supported us but was no longer in our best interest?
Chiron in Aries teaches us that when we triumph, everyone triumphs. The courage that we have to make a powerful change can in turn inspire others. Be courageous over the next few days. Face whatever old story is getting stirred up about how you can’t do something or you won’t be safe. Be an inspiration.
