We start the week off with a Libra Moon, one that turns our attention to relationships, socializing, and negotiation. The Moon also makes its first quarter, which means we’re checking in on our eclipse story today. Pay attention to what’s going on.
Yes, we’re a week past the July 2 solar eclipse at 10 Cancer. Eclipses, as I’ve mentioned numerous times before, usher out the past and usher in new chapters or new stories. For some of us, that chapter may be a bit more on the dramatic side — we move homes, we start a new job, we make a new connection, we see things in a new way. And in order for new things to come in, old things must transform or leave.
Because we’re between the eclipses right now — the next eclipse is July 16 — there’s an electricity in the air. Our experiences are far from mundane. Instead, we’re opening up to the experiences that make our soul grow.
As I said previously, pay attention to what’s happening today as well as what you are thinking, learning, or whom you’re interacting with. It’s part of a deeper theme woven into the fabric of this eclipse season.
Also, heads up, we’ve got a fair bit of major astrology to navigate this week. The Sun opposes Saturn in Capricorn tomorrow, July 9. We’re stepping up to responsibility, setting boundaries, or someone is showing us where we’ve stepped out of line. On July 11, Mars in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, an aspect that’s been known to motivate us to make radical or out of the blue changes. It can also make us a little accident prone, so be mindful that you’re not rushing or taking undue risks. Then the Sun opposes Pluto in Capricorn on July 14. We’re facing down our shadow. We’re seeing things for what they are. We’re taking our power back.
