Venus in Aries meets up with Chiron in Aries. Coming on the heels of a powerful conjunction of the Sun and Uranus in Taurus plus last week’s Libra Full Moon, relationships are still in the spotlight. We may be feeling old relationship wounds.
There’s a lot going on in the sky right now, the sort of astrology that pulls and tugs at some of our deepest emotions. Yesterday’s lineup of the Sun and Uranus, the first time in the sign of Taurus since 1941, asked us to have the courage to leave behind ourselves and open up to a new version of self, one based on authenticity.
Uranus dislikes artifice. It wants us to be our real self, not the self that we shift and shape ourselves into the needs and preferences of others. Uranus wants us to be liberated. But, as we know, change can stir up deep anxieties.
Be real with what you’re feeling today. Chiron’s influence can be sometimes hard to pinpoint. It’s as if something is pressing into old scar tissue or even pulling at a knot somewhere in our heart.
Tomorrow Pluto turns retrograde at 23 Capricorn, another influence that is making for heavy psychic weather. We’re looking into a mirror this week. We need to be kind to ourselves.
