Welcome to May, a month that showcases the energies of Taurus and its ruling planet Venus. It’s a season to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the natural world, to slow down, and take inventory. But it’s also a dynamic month that may speed things up.
Right on the heels of the Sun’s square to Pluto, Venus in Libra squares off with Pluto, too. If Venus is the planet of love and relationship, then Pluto demands reform less than helpful or even darker aspects of relationship, turning shadow into light.
Last week of Libra Season, one that brings the Sun and Venus to a pointed rendezvous with Pluto. We’re working on the shadow side of relationships. We’re also preparing for a Scorpio solar eclipse and Saturn make a jolt to Uranus as it turns direct.
We go into the weekend with a waning moon; the lunar light at a mere sliver. Time to reflect on our experiences and actions over the last few weeks. Our intuition is also stronger than usual.
Although we’re fresh in the energies of a Scorpio New Moon this week, we’ve only got a few more days left on Scorpio Season. In fact, when the Sun arrives Sagittarius on November 21, we’re leaving the dark of Scorpio for the light of Sagittarius.
Fresh off a Scorpio New Moon, we step into a week that puts a focus on intimacy, power, and rebirth. Scorpio energy pushes buttons, applying necessary emotional pressure so that we grow, transform. With Mars now direct, we’re also ready to move forward.
The Moon arrives in Taurus, picking up on a square between Venus and Pluto, two planets that can be a little obsessive, magnetic, and seductive. Pluto also speaks to the shadow and we may be navigating hidden motives and power dynamics.
It’s October! Although it’s Libra Season, a time when we focus on relationships and connection, we’re getting an early dose of Scorpio in the form of Venus square Pluto today. We’re looking at the darker side of love and its themes of power and control.
We start the week off with a Scorpio Moon, one that’s picking up on some of the deeper themes we’re working on this week — intimacy, power, vulnerability. Scorpio gives us the bravery to dig into what’s uncomfortable so we can grow.
Happy Libra New Moon! This is the time in the lunar calendar when we turn our attention to relationships. Libra is a sign of socialization and it teaches us to reach to others, connect, form partnership, and learn to negotiate the needs of others. Libra needs balance, fairness, and harmony.
It’s a day to tidy up and tie up loose ends as the Moon rounds its way through Virgo. Although we’ve left Virgo Season behind, we’re in the last day of lunar month, one that began with a Virgo New Moon. It’s also a day to focus on work and other initiatives.
Venus, rounding out its time in Aries, squares off with Pluto today. We’re looking at our relationships with a critical eye as well as how we interact with each other. Pluto speaks to power, control, manipulation in relationships. Seeing any red flags?
