Right on the heels of the Sun’s square to Pluto, Venus in Libra squares off with Pluto, too. If Venus is the planet of love and relationship, then Pluto demands reform less than helpful or even darker aspects of relationship, turning shadow into light.
Pluto aspects, especially to personal planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars) and the luminaries (Sun, Moon), provoke an evolution. On a personal level, they reveal something that needs reformation and transformation, a new relationship with that planet’s use of power. In the case of today’s square between Venus and Pluto, we have to look at all the different presentations of love and connection.
Of course, there’s healthy relationship. But that’s not always a given. It’s something that is discovered over time through deep work, reflection, and boundaries. As magnetic and seductive as Venus and Pluto can be, it’s a day to transform seduction, obsession, and power games into something more supportive, balanced, and constructive.
If we want healthy relationship, Pluto asks that we first take a look into the mirror. And it’s not always easy to do so.
