Happy Full Moon in Aquarius! Feeling a twinge of déjà vu? That’s because we had another Full Moon in Aquarius just last month. It’s as if he have second chance to release our intentions towards humanitarian endeavors, freedom, friendship, networking, hopes for the future, and finding our place in the collective. The full moon clocks in at 9:44 pm EDT, 28 degrees Aquarius/Leo. If you know your chart, your Aquarius/Leo house takes center stage over the next two weeks.
As I stared at the full moon chart, searching for a narrative, I silently asked: “Okay, spirit, what’s this full moon about?” In response I heard . . . the ties that bind . . . a phrase in English that has come to mean the things that we’re connected to, for better or for worse, through family and interpersonal relationships and karma. If the planets form a thread that connect us to something transpersonal, the red lines of the cardinal grand cross in the full moon chart reveals things that we’ve been tied to in this life and others.
The Uranus/Pluto square — even the cardinal t-square of 2010 — have been moments in time where the external threads through the internal, where we’ve been forced to take a long look at our evolution and question the path forward. Now that Venus and Jupiter connect with the Uranus/Pluto square, ask yourself — am I seeing the bigger picture? Now that I have a higher vantage point, what am I connected to? What needs to change? Grow? Evolve? As the planets shift into stressful aspect, how do we shift?
Full moons are about revelation. They are when the light is at its brightest in a lunar cycle. So as we follow the lines that connect us to something bigger, know that the light is shining brightly, highlighting the individual pieces in a way that paints a larger portrait.
Cardinal grand crosses are admittedly some of the hardest energy in astrology. They form a crucible of on intense evolutionary pressure that pushes our backs against the wall and provides the friction that forces us to initiate change. We push and pull with grand crosses and in the end we move mountains through our sheer will.
Having said that, much like my message during the previous Aquarius Full Moon, all this cardinal energy gives us the wherewithal to manifest through the Grand Water Trine. It gives our dreams and vision tangible motivations. Pluto is at the apex of a kite pattern; there’s a tremendous amount of power and drive with this full moon. Use it wisely. Use it to make an internal audit. Where are you karmically connected to others? Where are you primed for a breakthrough? Let the full moon light show the bigger picture and how you’re a part of it.
