Welcome to Pisces Season. The Sun arrives in the last sign of the zodiac sign and we close out the astrological year. If astrology is about how we live time and the seasons of life, we are at the end of a long journey. We reflect, rest, and search for meaning.
Venus arrives in Aquarius, joining up with Mars and Pluto, a powerhouse lineup that invokes an energy that wants to overhaul and transform our relationships, even if it’s our relationship with ourselves. There’s a push to start something by first clearing a path.
A Taurus Moon carries the powerhouse combination of Mars and Pluto into another day. Our axis may be shifting, our world tilting in a new direction. Taurus is a sign that gets to the fundamentals of life — money and resource, stability and security.
Mars joins Pluto in Aquarius, a conjunction that marks the start of a major chapter, one that will reform, transform, and overhaul a key area of our lives. Mars inspires and motivates, but it also provokes. Look for a shift in tone, a push to make a significant change.
Mars moves into Aquarius, bringing its energies of force and initiation to Pluto, also newly in Aquarius. There’s a palpable shift in the collective. It’s a demand that we look at themes around society and humanity, social issues and causes, systems and networks.
It’s a week to watch as both Mars and Venus arrive in Aquarius, swiftly meeting up with Pluto. This is the first time in two centuries that Mars and Venus are alongside Pluto in Aquarius. It’s a kick off of a new era, one that brings it home for us.
We start the week off with an Aries Moon, one that gets us moving. It’s a busy day for errands and projects to wrap up. With Mars at the end of Capricorn, we’re on the verge of something new. There’s an anticipation in the air, one that builds on a recent new moon.
We’re on the eve of a new moon. Typically a time to pull back, we instead find rest and repose. We turn inward for answers and we prepare for the cycle to begin again. That said, an electric square between the Sun and Uranus is a point of friction and evolution.
Venus picks up on a supportive trine from Uranus in Taurus, an opportunity to discover something deep within ourselves or to let go of a memory or emotional attachment that keeps us in the past. There is an unsentimental quality to Uranus. Sometimes that is necessary.
The Moon brings us into the dark of the moon, the time in the final days of the lunar month when the light grows faint. Time to go within, to reflect, and meditate. We’ve come full circle since the new moon of January 11. We prepare to begin again.
Mercury arrives in Aquarius, the first of the personal planets to meet up with Pluto in Aquarius. Mercury takes us into Pluto’s forge to reshape and transform how we think and communicate. Look for clues that hint at what the Pluto in Aquarius era will be about.
