Last day of Cancer Season, a season that brought us in connection with themes around care and connection, the past and memories, home and family. It was a season to renew ourselves emotionally. Instead, we may be more aware of what is emotionally lacking.
Each season of the zodiac is not only a chance to discover the archetype of the sign but to explore our personal relationship with the sign. Cancer, for example, covers some of our most primal needs around care and safety, particularly on an emotional level. It’s also home and family, both literally and figuratively. Of course, as human beings, this domain of our lives can often be complicated.
As we reach the end of any sign, it’s a day to take stock, to integrate the lessons and make the resolutions we need to make going forward. For me, there’s always an air of Saturn when we reach 29 degrees (the Sun reaches 29 Cancer today). And with that we must find maturity and mark our growth.
Tomorrow, the Sun arrives in Leo, kicking off a season not only devoted to the Sun, but one that will bring us to a solar eclipse on August 12. Change is on the horizon. Then again, it may be already.
