Fresh off the Virgo New Moon, we’re back at work ready to start new projects. But a watery dose of Neptune means that things are feeling a little sluggish, maybe even a little surreal. With the line between worlds blurred, use today to meditative or spiritual pursuits.
I should also mention that Venus moved into Scorpio yesterday. Our relationships just got a little edgier, a little sexier. True, Venus is traditionally not at home in Scorpio, a sign that makes it a little bit more self serving, but here it gets to express its natural charm in magnetic, dynamic ways. Venus in Scorpio also means that we value honesty, even if it’s brutally honest. We also value deep emotional connection and a level of trust that should never be betrayed.
Note that Venus will be spending an extended period in Scorpio as it comes up to its October 5 retrograde at 10 degrees Scorpio. Whatever relationships shadows we have, whatever issues around trust and intimacy, will need review in October and November. Venus in Scorpio shows us the dark side of love and may bring out old themes around obsession, power, and control.
