Venus, rounding out its time in Aries, squares off with Pluto today. We’re looking at our relationships with a critical eye as well as how we interact with each other. Pluto speaks to power, control, manipulation in relationships. Seeing any red flags?
While Venus and Pluto in aspect to each other can be magnetic and seductive, Pluto means that there’s something that we need transform because it’s not supporting our growth. And we transform by bringing light of consciousness to a relationship or interpersonal dynamic and making new choices. For example, if there is a tendency to run away from something in relationships or let someone have power over us, what would happen if we did the opposite?
On the flip side, Venus also trines Jupiter in Sagittarius today, two planets that traditionally speak of good fortune, luck, and abundance. Trines are great, don’t get me wrong, but they can easily pass us by. I think that for all the hard work we’ve been doing on our Venus this week, there really is a reward at the end of it. So don’t lose faith. Maybe there’s a miracle just around the corner.
Lastly, the Cancer Moon meets up with the North Node of the Moon today, a reminder that one of the themes this year is that we have to do what we love, that life needs heart and soul. Wherever the North Node is — it spends 18 months in a sign — means that is that we all have to collectively reach toward that sign. We need Cancer right now. We need home and family and the safety of close emotional connection.
