We start the week off with an Aries Moon, a Moon that usually like’s to take action, move forward, and go after what it wants. But with Mars in Pisces alongside Neptune, we have to be compassionate with our actions and move forward with empathy.
Mars, the ruler of Aries (and Scorpio), has been in Pisces since May 13 and has played a big part in the energy of this eclipse season, revealing not only a deep collective pain and emotion (perhaps anguish is a better word), but a collective action to reconcile this suffering and, hopefully, bring some healing.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It speaks to our emotions, memory, and feeling on a collective level. There is no individuality in the archetype of Pisces. Only unity and reconnection or the suffering of separation. (The glyph of Pisces is of two fishes swimming in opposite directions.)
But Mars will arrive in Aries on June 27, this all shifts. It’s no longer about the collective, it’s about the self. It’s also about how we take action, find courage, and use our power as individuals. And we may find that Mars in Aries later this month is like stepping on the gas and moving forward very quickly after being in a place of in-between for so long.
Don’t forget. We’re less than a week away from our next eclipse, the second in a series of three. This one will be right on the solstice. As a result, it’s a powerful week. We’re wrapping up Gemini Season, saying goodbye to one phase of life and stepping into something very new.
I’ll be talking more on this in my weekly Facebook Live at 6:15 pm EDT. You can watch or listen the replay on YouTube, IGTV, and Spotify.
