We go into the weekend with a Sagittarius Moon, one that speaks to themes of faith, truth, and meaning. We’re searching for answers, especially anything previously hidden or buried. But the real fireworks come via a full moon lunar eclipse on Sunday.
As I’ve been mentioning the last few weeks, we’re in eclipse season, the time every six months when the curtain comes down on one act and pulls up on another. Think back to the start of June. What’s different? Who has come into this stage and who has left? What new story is starting to emerge?
Eclipse season can be a time of powerful pivoting or swift change, especially if you’re one of the signs where the eclipses are falling in. So, if you’re a Sagittarius or Gemini, Cancer or Capricorn, you may be feeling this time more strongly.
This weekend’s lunar eclipse at 13 Capricorn is the last in a series that began with a solar eclipse in July 2018. In fact this eclipse is the bookend or coda to a solar eclipse that occurred on January 5, 2019. That said, this lunar eclipse is a demand that we take action in a particular part of our life. It’s a need for a decision. It may be a revelation or illumination. (Read my Saturn in Capricorn: Sign by Sign for a sense of what’s happening thematically.)
More on this eclipse later.
