The Moon moves into Aries and we start the weekend with the energies of inspiration and motivation. Aries helps to make for fresh starts and leaps forward. The Moon also activates Mars and Uranus in Aries. We may be at a turning point, ready to break free.

As I mentioned in my update yesterday, we’re in the last days of Uranus in Aries, a sign Uranus won’t be in for another 80 years. For the last seven, eight years we’ve been in an unprecedented time of powerful new beginnings, shakeups, and reinventions. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. It’s what’s called a cardinal sign because it lines up with the start of a new season. So 2010-2011 was like the start of a new season for us and we’re not the same as a result.

This weekend may point to the end of a story that began around 2010-2011. This is the last time the Moon and Mars will be in Aries while Uranus is in Aries. (Mars is square the lunar nodes, too, so theres deep subtext to the actions we’re taking right now.) Come March 6, Uranus will move into Taurus, where it will be for the next seven years, helping us to reinvent our relationship with what we own, what we value, and what we need to feel safe and secure. If you are a Taurus, you will be entering a multi-year process of reinventing yourself. This shouldn’t sound new. You got a preview from May to November 2018. Time to move forward. (I spoke about this major shift in my Astrology of 2019 webinar, which you can still register to watch the replay. Click here for more information.)

That said, this weekend will likely be busy tying up loose ends, tending to appointments, meeting up with friends, fielding calls, or answering messages. An Aries Moon, especially with Mars nearby, can be a little testy, so make sure you’re being diplomatic if something comes up between you and another person.
