Uranus in Aries: Sign by Sign

I’m admittedly writing this eight years too late. But, when Uranus first went into Aries in May 2010, Empowering Astrology was a newborn and still searching for its self expression. (I’m Sagittarius Rising, by the way. For me, Uranus in Aries has been a reinvention of identity.)

As the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. But, even with Uranus’s time in Aries coming to a close, perspective is always helpful. Uranus is the planet of reinvention, consciousness, revolution, evolution, chaos, breakdowns, and breakthroughs. It’s been eight years of restless individuation. It’s been all about the awakening of the self. Knowing that Uranus was telling us that it was time to change can give context for powerful transformation that we’ve experienced since 2010.

The exact dates Uranus is in Aries are May 29, 2010 to August 13, 2010 followed by March 11, 2011 to May 15, 2018. Uranus will make one last dip into Aries on November 7, 2018 and leave on March 6, 2019.
