We’re sliding into some heavy astrology as we prepare for a solar eclipse in Capricorn on January 5, one that will touch on both Saturn and Pluto. We’re being confronted with what has to change, transform, or end. Our souls are laid bare.
Both Saturn and Pluto help us to connect with the level of the soul and the soul’s many facets. While Saturn is the arc of time and the karma that comes with living in the physical, Pluto is the mirror and it helps us to see ourselves, even if it’s uncomfortable. With new awareness comes a need for change. Saturn pushes us to do better.
In the meantime, Mercury makes a square to Chiron as it reaches the end of Sagittarius. Chiron, another planet that helps us to connect with the soul, is showing us where we need to heal and open up how we speak and communicate. The Moon is also is coming to the end of its cycle and it’s a time to reflect on a lunar month that began with the Sagittarius New Moon on December 7.
Tomorrow, Mercury moves into Capricorn and we’re in the gate for this weekend’s new moon solar eclipse. More on that later.
