The Moon’s in Aquarius as we go into the weekend and we not only reach the dark of the moon, but we reach the end of the zodiac year. It’s time to get quiet and reflect. An Aquarius Moon helps us to see the bigger picture and to connect the dots.
It’s worth noting that this is the first time in three years that the Moon has been in Aquarius without Saturn also there. Maybe it feels a little strange to not have that weight on us. Maybe we’ve well integrated its lessons around friendship and community, society and humanity, social themes and causes.
Nevertheless, Saturn’s now in Pisces. What are we noticing is different? Are we picking up on its subtle themes and emotional exploration? This is our first taste of Saturn in Pisces, a dominant narrative that will take us into 2026. (Read more in Saturn in Pisces: The Look Within.)
Mercury changes signs this weekend, arriving in Aries on March 19. It’s our first planet to cross into the beginning of the zodiac and is a herald of a change in seasons. Whereas Mercury is dreamy and intuitive in Pisces, it’s rapid-fire quick in Aries. Things are going to start to speed up.
The astrological new year begins on March 20 when the Sun arrives in Aries.
We’re also getting ready for Pluto’s first arrival in Aquarius next week on March 23. This is the start of a monumental shift that can’t be understated.
