After seven months in Gemini, Mars finally gets out of its retrograde shadow. It’s been a slow road at times, but one that forced us to reconsider options and choices and to forge new paths. We’ll start to see some needed movement and different perspectives.
If you think back to October 30, that was the day that Mars stationed retrograde at 25 degrees Gemini. It was just after Saturn’s direct turn and a powerful Scorpio solar eclipse. Mars’s shadow — the path that Mars had to rewind and retrace — along with Neptune has made for slow going at time. But now Mars is reaching new territory and squaring off with the Pisces Sun as it does so. We may have choices to make today or a new direction to head off in, restless after things not quite moving the past four months.
Speaking of Neptune, Mercury dives into its energies, making a conjunction to the planet of spirituality, compassion, and forgiveness. Mercury conjunct Neptune is an aspect of mystics and seers, artists and musicians. Be open to visions and messages. Our dreams may be more vivid.
Finally, lost a bit in the fog of Neptune is Venus’s arrival home to Taurus. Here, Venus invites us to find pleasure, to focus on our material lives, to create more comfort. But Venus’s arrival means that it now brings us back to Uranus in Taurus and its powerful shifts over the past few years.
