Big weekend ahead. No, not just because it’s Halloween, but because Mars arrives in Scorpio and turns the volume up on the season. In Libra, Mars was all diplomacy. But in Scorpio, all bets are off.
If Mars is drive and motivation, then now we’re driven and motivated to get to the heart of a matter, to reveal something previously hidden or secret. Mars in Scorpio is also very driven by themes of trust, security, and power. It’s very psychologically motivated, too.
Mars also breathes life into 2021’s ongoing square between Saturn in Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus, two planets that have been pushing and pulling at the tectonic plates of our lives. A new moon on November 4 may be confrontational as we must look at what’s in the divide between an old life that we’re still connected to and a new life that’s trying to come into being.
Additionally, the Sun also squares Saturn on October 30, a check-in with the planet of making sure we’re growing up and doing the right thing. Don’t cut corners. Say yes to what’s going to support you both now and for the future. Say no to what’s out of balance or inequitable. Make sure friendships and alliances are strong. Set healthy boundaries. Push yourself to do better. Get super clear about something previously unclear.
