We reach the end of Libra Season, a season of partnership, connection, and putting things back into balance. But come tomorrow, the Sun slips into Scorpio and we begin our decent into the underworld.
Scorpio is the 8th sign of the zodiac. It represents the duality of life and the light as well as the dark that lies within. We all have darkness. And it’s in Scorpio Season that we dismantle, deconstruct, and unearth what is normally just out of view.
If Libra is relationship and the act of connection, the Scorpio is intimacy. It’s the fear and discomfort but also the alchemy of relation. It’s sex and power. Death and rebirth. It’s no coincidence that Halloween occurs while the Sun is in Scorpio, a day that once marked the midpoint of the sign and the midpoint between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice.
Just in advance of Scorpio Season, Mars squares Pluto today, an energy that can feel like an emotional and spiritual forge. Something moves deep within. We’re turning a corner. But when the Sun arrives in Scorpio on October 23, begin turn the inner darkness into gold.
