Emotions running high after the full moon, we’re seeking solid ground. Today’s Taurus Moon wants the comfort of the familiar and stable. But it’s a reminder that we’re only a month away from eclipse season.
The next new moon on November 4, a Scorpio New Moon, opens up a lunar month marked not only by a lunar eclipse in Taurus, but one that makes strong connections to Saturn and Uranus. These two planets have been at the forefront of 2021’s astrology and the sense that we’ve got one foot in a new life, one foot in an old life.
I mention next month’s eclipse because it’s not uncommon to see eclipse energy start to come in a month before, especially when the Moon is in the sign of the eclipse. Pay attention to what’s happening today and tomorrow and how it may be connected to events in November, specifically around the full moon on November 19.
At the heart of next month’s lunar eclipse is a need to make major decisions about what’s going to support and nourish us as well as decisions around what we value and need to feel stable in life. And the lunar eclipse will be a big check in on all the shifts and changes we’ve made since May 2018, March 2019 when Uranus first went into Taurus.
In short, what we thought we needed in 2018 is not what we need now. How do we use the energy of yesterday’s Aries New Moon to go after what we need?
