After two months, Mercury comes to the end of Virgo, a time of rework and reorganization. Before we step into a new beginning, an opposition between Mercury and Neptune asks that we consider what’s in our heart and soul before making a decision.
Any time a personal planet makes an aspect with an evolutionary planet, we have to transcend how we normally act, think, and relate to one another. In the case of today’s opposition between Mercury and Neptune, there’s no room for ego and we have to find the balance between the analytical mind and the intuitive mind. The best decisions aren’t always rational or make sense on paper, so to speak.
Mercury has one more aspect to make, a razor-sharp insightful trine to Pluto tomorrow, before leaving Virgo. It arrives in Libra on October 4 and adds to the buzz of October’s eclipse season.
Yes, as you’ve been hearing me say for the last few weeks, we’re in eclipse season, that time every six months when time bends and the doors of fate open. This eclipse season has a lot to do with relationship and connection, value and worth, material stability and security, what we owe to others, and how we serve.
