The Moon’s in Sagittarius and we turn our attention towards element Fire and Earth, two elements that inspire action and practical steps. It’s a day to set intentions for new initiatives, taking advantage of Jupiter and Uranus and their energies of reinvention.

A few days ago, on April 20, Jupiter and Uranus came together in the sky for the first time in 13-14 years, planting a seed in the sign of Taurus that will unfold in the coming days and weeks. That’s the thing about astrology. We don’t always see it in the moment. An eclipse can pass us by only to emerge weeks after. A conjunction sometimes needs the right moment for it to come into reality, whether through a new or full moon or Mars passing by.

When I wrote about Uranus in Taurus back in 2018, I said our world would shift. Why? Because Taurus represents the ground beneath our feet and Uranus is not unlike an earthquake, a shock of awareness, a rumble of change, even if that change is internal.

Here we are, six years later, and everything is different. The question is, what has Jupiter and Uranus set in motion? Perhaps we have to look to the Taurus New Moon of May 7 for insight. Or Mars’s arrival in Taurus on June 9 for new initiatives that will unfold into July. Time will tell.

For the record, Jupiter was conjunct Uranus in Pisces June 8, 2010; September 19, 2010; and January 4, 2011. Before that, February 15, 1997 in Aquarius. And when I look back at those times in my life, even in the months surrounding, I see a period of rapid growth and transformation. (If you were born in 1983, you have Jupiter and Uranus conjunct in Sagittarius. Or for those born in the later half 1969, Jupiter and Uranus conjunct in Libra.)

Be open to new horizons and new perspectives.
