Jupiter arrives in Aries after its grand loop through the zodiac. While its time in Pisces was not only a symbolic return home, it was the end of a long journey. In Aries, Jupiter brings the start of a new adventure.
In astrology, Jupiter is often painted as the planet of good fortune. But it’s more complex than that. First, Jupiter, like Saturn, are the planets that govern over the larger ebbs and flows of our lives. If Saturn is the structure, then Jupiter helps us to fill that structure.
It’s the planet of wisdom and knowledge in the sense that it inspires us to look beyond ourselves. Imagine a life where all we know is the small world around us. We do not question or search for more. Our experiences are limited. Without Jupiter, our vision of life cannot expand and grow. We cannot expand and grow.
Jupiter is also the planet of faith. Its time in Pisces taught us about the search for faith within. In Aries, however, faith is personal and individual. We have a sense of mission. We feel a call to lead and share what we have discovered. But it is a faith that is raw and untested.
Because of that, Jupiter in Aries needs to go out into the world and discover and refine its vision. And, over the next 12 years, we may come to see the world as well as ourselves very differently.
