The Moon leaves Pisces for Aries and we’re on the threshold of a new moon, the first in this new astrological year. We’re feeling a rush to prepare. We’re on the edge of a major new beginning.

Aries Season, in a way, hasn’t fully started. True, the Sun’s been in Aries since March 20, but we’ve been navigating the remains of a Pisces lunar month that began on March 3. These two overlapping arcs of time have had us straddling two larger cycles at once.

That changes tomorrow with the Aries New Moon at 11 degrees. With Mars in Aquarius conjunct Saturn and Venus, this is not only a new moon to start the astrological year, but a powerful new beginning that asks us to think seriously about what we are building and committing to in the coming months. And since Venus and Mars are the current rulers of the North and South Nodes of the Moon, this is likely a new moon and a subsequent lunar month that has a major place in the events of 2022.

In the meantime, use today to reflect and plan and think about what major new beginnings you are fostering in the coming days, weeks, and months.

Tonight I’m hosting a virtual Aries New Moon Circle on March 31 at 8 pm EDT. In it, we’ll be connecting to the energies of Aries, creating sacred space, and envisioning how we want to use this energy of renewal in a guided meditation. If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 1.
