Mercury leaves intellectual Aquarius for Pisces, a sign known more for its intuition and creative thinking than its rational analysis. Pisces a space that Mercury isn’t traditionally at home in, instead having to learn to feel instead of think.
As I’ve been saying consistently of late, Pisces is going to be a major focus over the next few years once Saturn arrives on March 7. Whether it’s Pisces Season or Venus’s time in Pisces from January 26 to February 20, we’ve been getting subtle hints of what to expect while Saturn is in Pisces, until 2026.
And what is Pisces? Peace, forgiveness, compassion, redemption, release, inner faith, spiritually, mysticism, deep healing. Of course, that’s a high bar and we’re mere mortals. Which is to say, we’re also navigating the parts of ourselves and are in a contrast to those energies. Like all signs, Pisces has shadows and lights. And we will also be examining our sufferings, our attachments, and the harder parts of our hearts that find it difficult to forgive.
That said, Venus and Jupiter make a beautiful conjunction in Aries, an aspect that has a reputation for good fortune (traditionally Venus is called the lesser benefic and Jupiter the greater benefic). It’s a day when we may reach for stability and security, to make investments, or enjoy the spark of passion and romance.
Do keep in mind that this conjunction lines up with Chiron in Aries, as well. Chiron can feel more like an ache or the reemergence of a deep emotional or spiritual theme. Is true love possible? Can I be loved? Am I safe? Chiron says we have to have the courage to open our hearts.
