The Sun makes its yearly rendezvous with Neptune, a merge of energies that has the power to blur, soften, and transform … or pull us away in a current. Our sense of self has to open to our higher self, without illusion. Find inspiration in music and art, too.
If the Sun is the self, the ego, and identity, things get a little interesting when you put Neptune into the mix. Neptune, a planet that wants us to transcend the lower self in search of something higher. But, sometimes we can get lost in the middle.
My joke about Neptune transits is not to drink our Neptune because the allure to transcend is often the pull to numb out or go to sleep. And it’s not just the Sun and Neptune this week. We have Mars square Neptune yesterday as well as Mercury conjunct Neptune tomorrow.
