Neptune turns retrograde in Pisces, saturating the collective with its energies. Neptune dissolves the boundaries between this world and the next. It heightens our dreams and intuition. It can also make us more emotional, spacey, or ungrounded than usual.
As mentioned yesterday, Neptune has been in Pisces for the last 13 years and it’s taken that time to go from the beginning to the end of the sign, which is not unusual for Neptune. It takes, in total, 14 years to cross one sign of the zodiac. (The Sun takes 30 days. Mercury can breeze by in two weeks. Saturn can take 30 years.)
Unlike the Sun or Mercury or even Saturn, Neptune is an evolutionary planet. Its job is to get us to grow and evolve by any means possible. It does its work by opening us up to subtle energies. It pulls back the veil and can open our consciousness to the collective and universal. It can purify and help heal. But, in its shadow side, it can overwhelm with emotions and pull us into our abyss within.
Neptune will make its first preview of Aries from March 30 to October 23, 2025.
That said, Mercury also makes moves today, arriving in Leo for a three week visit. If Mercury is the planet of voice and communication, then in Leo, Mercury finds its creative voice, its ability to vision. It can inspire with new ideas. It can even be playful and romantic.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 3, 2024.
