Mars arrives in Taurus after six months in Aries and a certain area of our lives can finally move forward into new territory. If Mars is action, motivation, then in Taurus it’s driven to create stability, seek out pleasure.
Yes, there’s one particular area of your life that has probably been a bit demanding since June 27, 2020, when Mars first arrived in Aries. (Read Mars in Aries: Sign by Sign for a refresh.) Hopefully you have a sense of resolution as you close out a six month story.
Now it’s time for Taurus, a sign that helps us to connect to the energies of material stability and security, pleasure and fertility. Mars in Taurus is very sensual. That said, Mars will activate Uranus in Taurus and its story of reinvention and revolution that began in 2018/2019. Uranus just wants us to be ourselves and to break out of anything that’s preventing us from being in alignment with our highest potential. It’s the planet of awakenings and breakthroughs. But it also shakes things up, can feel chaotic, and quickly break us from the past.
So Mars is making waves this month alongside Uranus. It’s also squaring off with Saturn and Jupiter, newly in Aquarius. As I mentioned in my weekly astrology video, we’re going to see some waves this month as two stories that began in 2018 start to come to ahead and create friction, the new running up against the old.
