First full week of the New Year and for many of us we’re back at work after the holiday season. With four planets in Capricorn, there’s a mandate to get organized, to set goals and strategies for the weeks ahead. The recent Cancer Full Moon continues to shake things up.
We have a couple of things on the horizon to take note of:
First, this week, Jupiter in Cancer opposes Venus, the Sun, and Mars in Capricorn, a push and pull between two signs that act as pillars for the zodiac. Cancer is home and family. Capricorn is our worldly lives and responsibilities. Mars and Jupiter, in particular, can be provocative. And Cancer can touch on deep emotions. As a result, there is a tension or friction that we may need to resolve as we go into the weekend.
Second, as we go into the first half of February, Saturn continues to bring us to the end of Pisces, a sign that symbolically marks the end of one cycle and prepares us for the next. And since Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn Season, the tensions that we may be trying to resolve may be around our material lives versus what truly matters to our heart and our spirit.
Additionally, the end of Pisces is a place where we bring something to a conclusion instead of starting something new. So, for example, whatever we initiate right now may take on new life when Saturn arrives in Aries on February 13. And whatever priorities that came into our lives in early 2023 are now coming to an end as well.
