We start the week with a Virgo Moon, one that wants to organize and get laser focused on what needs to get done. Picking up on the practicalities of Capricorn Season, take steps to make your goals happen.
Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, also makes a conjunction to Pluto. If we’re cleaning and organizing today, for example, we may be obsessive about it. Mercury conjunct Pluto tunnels on the details. It has to make things perfect. It’s also rooting out information and revealing something previously hidden. Conversations are powerful and transformative, too.
This week we also see three planets change signs, a signal that the narrative is about to change. Mars finally arrives in Taurus after six long months in Aries on January 6. Two days later, on January 9, Venus arrives in Capricorn and Mercury in Aquarius.
Things are probably going to start to get a little bumpy again. When Mars arrives in Taurus, it’ll activate a growing square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, a square that is the marquee event for 2021’s astrology. At the heart of this square is a friction between the new and the old and a need to resolve it.
