Last day of January. We’re on the cusp of the Aquarius New Moon, too, which means that we’re in that dark lunar space before a new beginning. Rest and reflect. The coming month brings an echo of eclipse energy.

Tomorrow’s Aquarius New Moon isn’t just the start of a new month, it also brings us to the midpoint of the eclipses. It’s the opening square, as we say astrologically, a time when whatever seeds were planted back around the Taurus Full Moon lunar eclipse on November 19 come to manifestation. Tomorrow’s new moon also foreshadows the eclipses of April-May 2022.

That’s the thing about eclipse energy. It threads in and out of different moments. They’re not singular events but a series of events. Think back to what was happening around mid November 2021 as well as the larger themes and events that marked 2018-2019. (Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign for more information.)

That said, this is a week that Mercury turns direct on February 3. Things may be a little haywire. Have patience. Double check things. When Mercury turns direct we may have bracing clarity on something.

More on this in my weekly Facebook Live at 6 pm EST today, Monday, January 31. You can watch the replay on YouTube, Instagram, or listen on Spotify.
