Fresh off the heels of a powerful new moon, Uranus turns direct in Taurus. It’s another chapter in an ongoing story that began in May 2018 and March 2019, a story of reinvention and personal revolution.

Yes, think back to May 2018 and March 2019. Those were the two dates that Uranus entered Taurus for the first time in 80 years. If Uranus is the planet of reinvention, revolution, awakenings, and transformation, there’s a certain part of our lives that may look very different than it did two or three years ago. (Need a refresh? Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.)

Uranus is one of the key players in the astrology of this year, something that I’ll be discussing in my January 23 webinar on The Astrology of 2021. And Uranus shows where we need to break out of old patterns, old ruts, and anything that’s keeping us being our true selves. But it may bring a proverbial earthquake in order to do so. Or it may inspire us to do something radically different.

Let’s not forget yesterday’s new moon with Pluto. In fact, the Sun makes a conjunction to Pluto today. It’s a powerful day to reform and transform while taking an unflinching look at what’s not working.

There’s a lot of twists and turns in the astrology this week. Hold on!

Also, it’s a month from Valentine’s Day and the latest edition of Cosmos, Crystals & Cabernet will be love themed, pairing astrology with morganite (a pink colored cousin of emerald and aquamarine) alongside a Albariño white wine from California. Join me on February 6 at 6 pm EST for a limited live event with wine and crystal pairing. (United States residents only unfortunately because of wine shipping.) Details and registration here.
