Mercury turns direct at 24 Capricorn, not far from the energies of Pluto. We need to take a deeper look at our blindspots and projections, our secrets and shadows. We may receive bracing clarity, too.
As you may recall, Mercury’s been retrograde since January 14, drawing a line in the sky between Saturn in Aquarius and Pluto in Capricorn. Perhaps this is Mercury’s way of bringing us back to early 2020, when Saturn and Pluto made their rare alignment and formed a wrecking ball of sorts. We’re reflecting on the choices and decisions we’ve made over the last two years.
That said, Mercury in Capricorn in general is a need to be the master of our choices, to have the maturity and hard earned wisdom to know what is right for us and not right for us. Typically Mercury Direct is a realization or a decision point. Seen through the lens of Pluto, our decisions have far-range implications.
Mercury will make its final conjunction to Pluto on February 11 after two previous conjunctions on December 30, 2021 and January 28, 2022. Mercury also returns to Aquarius, where it began its retrograde, on February 14.
