We start the week with a Taurus Moon, one that brings us back to last month’s lunar eclipse at 16 Taurus. With its spotlight on Uranus in Taurus, we’re feeling a push today to reinvent, break out of old habits and patterns, and reach for solid ground.
I think that’s been the hardest thing in 2021 and 2022 — Uranus in Taurus and it’s dynamic square to Saturn in Aquarius. It’s shook the earth beneath our feet. Our lives look very different than they did in 2020, perhaps even radically so. The things we thought would never change back in 2018 and 2019, have definitely changed.
While this energy is starting to wane, it played a starring role in the eclipses of October and November, especially the lunar eclipse of November 8. Today’s Taurus Moon may feel like an echo or even a tremor. At the heart of Uranus’s time in Taurus is to reinvent our relationship with element earth, from money and income, value and worth to stability and security. Taurus is about the fertility of life.
That said, we’re quickly approaching a Gemini Full Moon, arriving on December 7 at 16 degrees. With an exact conjunction to a retrograde Mars in Gemini, this full moon may be testy, dynamic, argumentative, and have a lot to say.
Mars in Gemini can typically be a little impulsive around how it communicates and moves, but Mars Retrograde is a reminder that we can’t run on instinct with this full moon. We need to choose our words wisely, especially once Mercury arrives in Capricorn tomorrow.
