Neptune turns direct in Pisces tomorrow at 22 degree, closing a five month retrograde. Things are a little hazy at the moment and perhaps a little overly sensitive, too. We’re trying to find a solid footing as the energy ebbs and flows. Dreams and intuition are vivid.
Neptune runs a little in the background. It’s hard to grasp exactly what it means. As an evolutionary planet, its function is to get us to grow and evolve. It does so by not only dissolving the boundaries between this world and the next but showing us where are spiritual work is.
Since 2011 and 2012, Neptune’s been in Pisces, spending a total of fourteen years journeying through the sign. Neptune has revealed a range of experience both personally and collectively. We’ve gotten a little more new age/spiritual. Everyone’s into astrology and crystals these days it seems. But it’s also been heavy times emotionally. Everyone seems to be in their own world as well.
Neptune turned retrograde back on June 27, so our experiences this week are threaded back to this time. What has our spiritual work been over the last five months? A spiritual work means that we have to refine something, elevate and transcend it beyond the needs of the ego.
Things don’t work on our own timeline with Neptune. We have to open ourselves to the higher wisdom and knowledge. We have to surrender to something that’s greater than us.
That said, an energetic Aries Moon takes us into the weekend, adding fire to the Sagittarius Sun. With Mars square Neptune, how do we find patience? We want things now, but they also have to happen on their own time.
