The dark of the moon continues. We rest and reflect. Our intuition or dreams may be more active than usual. But we sense that a change may be on the horizon. A new moon is always a shift of focus, a refresh that opens the next four weeks.
The Moon (and Saturn) set the time and rhythm. Every four weeks we have a new moon, which are like set changes on the stage of life. Every six months, with the solar and lunar eclipse, brings an even larger set change, like a new act. Life weaves in and out of these points.
If tomorrow’s new moon is a set change, we can expect one that turns our attention to Sagittarius, a sign that wants more out of life — more travel, more knowledge, more experiences — anything that helps us grow. Sagittarius is also a sign that has a deep need to ask questions and seek answers.
With Jupiter, the ruler of the new moon, over in Cancer, we can expect that the next four weeks will be about emotional growth, too. As much as Sagittarius wants to find the answers in a book or through a philosophy, Jupiter in Cancer reminds us that the answers are found within.
