The Sagittarius Sun picks up on support from Saturn in Aquarius, a firm hand as we start our week. Time to get organized, focused on our priorities, and make commitments for the future. Saturn brings clarity to decisions. A Leo Moon helps us to find vision.

We’re starting to wrap up a few smaller as well as larger chapters. The first is Sagittarius Season. We’re now in that last week or so before the Sun changes signs on December 21. It’s been a season to explore both the world around us but our own sense of the world. And the coming days may push us to get clear about what we believe in and what we stand for.

Jupiter also comes to the end of Pisces, a sign that it won’t return to for another 12 years. As the ruler of Sagittarius Season, it’s given us a duality to explore, revealing that the search for wisdom and knowledge isn’t just about schooling and travel, but an inner search as well.

Jupiter is our guide as we navigate the last leg of Sagittarius. What’s our relationship with our spirituality? What does it all mean? Have we found what we are looking for? Do we have the faith to keep going?

Currently, Jupiter is at 29 Pisces, which isn’t just the last degree of the sign, but the last degree of the zodiac. Symbolically, 29 Pisces is the end of a long journey. It’s the spiritual conclusion to our earthly exploration through the previous eleven signs. And it’s also symbolic of the moment before new life begins, before birth and that first breath in Aries.

As a result we’re both at the end of a long journey, but at the moment before something new rushes in. When Jupiter returns to Aries on December 20, we’re back in familiar territory, but this time Jupiter brings Sagittarius Season to a conclusion with a spark of light. Perhaps we may have a deeper realization or a powerful new beginning just before the solstice.

Of course, we’re wrapping up the year. Just a few more weeks before the start of 2023, if you can believe it. (Don’t forget to register for this week’s Astrology of 2023 webinar. Details below.) And I have my eye on Saturn’s remaining time in Aquarius, which brings to a conclusion a chapter that began in March 2020. As we get into Capricorn Season, followed by Aquarius, we’re going to start to see the conclusion of our personal and collective work while Saturn’s been in Aquarius. (Read more about Saturn in Aquarius in my sign-by-sign guide.)

Which brings me back to Jupiter. It’s possible that Jupiter has been planting seeds in Pisces, quietly opening up opportunities that will take root and take form once Saturn arrives in Pisces starting March 2023. Be mindful this week about the intentions you’re setting for this new life. And be prepared to move some things around inside to make space for something new.
