Venus arrives in Sagittarius, trading the emotional intensities of Scorpio for the wide open pastures of Sagittarius. This is a Venus at its most bohemian. It loves freedom and exploration. It invests in education and knowledge. It values worldly points of view.
With Venus in Sagittarius, it’s a good reminder that we now have three planets in Sagittarius, a fire sign. Fire is the element that inspires and motivates. Sagittarius, in particular, is the fire of the stars. It gets us to look up and outside of ourselves. And, towards the stars.
With Mercury now direct as of November 29, we’re starting to get some movement in the sky. This plus the energy of fire means that we’re feeling some forward movement as we start December off.
This week we have a Gemini Full Moon on December 4 at 13 degrees. Full moons also mean that this is a week of turning points and decisions. Plus, this full moon pulls a thread that connects us back to the September 7 lunar eclipse and the September 21 solar eclipse. It may be a very dynamic week as a result. Eclipses close one door and open up another.
