We round out the week with a Scorpio Moon, one that not only brings us to the first quarter moon, but to a dynamic lineup of planets in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius — also known as a fixed cross, a configuration that brings us into the forces of creation.
This month hasn’t exactly started on a light note. Between August 1 conjunction of Mars, Uranus, and the North Node in Taurus and August 7 square between Mars and Saturn in Aquarius, we may be feeling a lot of pressure to transform key areas of our lives.
It’s important to understand that this month’s astrology isn’t a singular event. Instead, it’s a part of a larger series of transformation and change that began when Uranus entered Taurus in May 2018, March 2019, kicking into higher gear when Saturn arrived in Aquarius March 2020, December 2020. Then in 2021, we felt the push and pull between an old life and a new life.
Fixed energy talks about the creation and manifestation of life, giving form to the cardinal signs that fall before them. If Taurus is life, then Scorpio is death, these twin forces that are inseparable and give birth to one another.
Here we are in 2022. Something new wants to take shape. Pay attention to what’s beginning to emerge through this alchemical force.
