We’re winding down the lunar month as we start the week with a Pisces Moon, one that feels liminal. Things may feel hazy or like they don’t have a lot of energy. Then again, with a solar eclipse three days away, we’re revving up for something powerfully new.
Yes, it’s that time of year again. Eclipse season is one of the major markers of the astrological year, punctuating time as well as our experiences. Life speeds up. Events as well as people come rushing in and out of our lives. The curtain comes down on one act and comes up on another.
What’s important about this week’s solar eclipse at 29 Aries on April 20 is that it’s the first eclipse in Aries. As you may know, we’ve been in a period where the eclipses have been between Taurus and Scorpio since the end of 2021. But that is starting to change.
Aries and its opposing sign of Libra are a different archetypal pair. These are the signs of individuation and socialization, relationship and negotiation. Aries particularly is new beginnings, the renewal of spring, action, drive, courage, and leadership.
To get you ready for eclipse season I’m doing a 2.5 hour webinar on The Eclipses of April & May 2023 this Wednesday, April 19, at 8pm ET. You can get the recording if you cannot watch live. I’ll talk all about what we can expect from this new story through Aries as well as a sign-by-sign guide. Learn more and register.
And if you want a preview, I’m doing my Facebook Live today at 6pm ET. Watch the replay on YouTube, Instagram, and Spotify.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 18, 2023.
