The eclipse may have passed us by, but today’s meetup of Mars and Saturn is another link in an unfolding story, the two planets evoking the energy of manifestation. It’s the start of a new cycle. Something wants to become tangible and real in our lives.

Saturn is the planet of matter and manifestation. Meaning, it rules over our physical lives. It is the energy of time and how we live time. It is growth and maturity, which, of course, takes time. It is also the karma or the result of our choices and actions.

As much as I love Saturn as an astrologer, I know it can bring a heavy tone to the sky. As a result, we may find that this is a day or even a week to get serious, whether to make a commitment, to strive towards a personal goal, or to put our lives in order.

But this conjunction in particular creates some friction, especially with the energy of the Aries New Moon eclipse. If Aries is about rushing forward into something new, then Pisces is the intermediary plane between one life and the next. It’s spiritual and ethereal, not tangible and physical. Perhaps we feel pulled in different directions. Perhaps we have to really feel into our hearts and souls with this Mars-Saturn conjunction, making a commitment within so we can begin something new.

For more about the impact of Mars and Saturn, read both Mars in Pisces: Sign by Sign and Saturn in Pisces: Sign by Sign to get an idea of what themes and what area of your life this conjunction is impacting.

The Mars-Saturn cycle is a two year cycle. The last conjunction was April 4, 2022.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 11, 2024.
