The Moon’s in Gemini, a sign that wants to move and explore as well as set in motion the new beginnings that we forged with the Aries New Moon. With Mercury in Aries, it’s a fast-paced day. Conversations are quick, perhaps a little heated, too.
Just because Mercury is retrograde, doesn’t mean our lives grind to a halt. We just have to use our critical thinking skills more. Normally Mercury in Aries is impulsive. It goes by its gut. But with a Moon in Gemini picking up on Mercury Retrograde, it means that we have to be careful of being too impulsive.
Mercury Retrograde invites us, over a three to four-week period, to be more conscientious about how we think, communicate, listen, and make choices. It’s not to say that things don’t get a little screwy, but it’s just so that we take the time to be more deliberate.
As you probably know, we’re only a few days out from a solar eclipse, which is also a little screwy. Time is still weird. Energy is still weird. Whatever new beginnings the eclipse seeded are still unfolding. April is just getting started.
