We trade Sagittarius Season for Capricorn this week, the Sun arriving in the 9th sign on December 21 and marking the solstice, one of the four major crossings of the year. It’s the return of the light. Mercury returns to Sagittarius and Venus faces off with Uranus.
The Moon’s in Capricorn today, a Moon that wants to get grounded and practical in the midst of Sagittarius’s grander visions. How does an idea become reality? With Saturn in Pisces, our heart has to be in whatever we create and whatever we choose.
Venus, now in Scorpio, picks up support from Saturn in Pisces, a trine that helps us to find deeper connection, to feel safe and supported, to also open up our intuition and spirituality. It’s a day to build and strengthen our relationships.
We’re coming off of a buzzy Gemini Full Moon, one that pulled at the energies of Mars and Saturn. It’s a possible reality check, one that comes with sobering new perspectives or a strong sense of resolve. There’s still a call to make mature, responsible choices.
We start the week with a Gemini Full Moon, putting the spotlight on communication, education, and travel. Mercury and Neptune invite us to seek creative solutions. Venus joins the South Node, activating a recent eclipse. Mercury also arrives in Capricorn.
2024 is a bridge. With a major focus on Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, we are coming to the end of a larger cycle and preparing for a new era. Pisces has us searching for deeper meaning. Pluto also makes its final monumental arrival in Aquarius.
Mars arrives in Sagittarius, a sign where its natural drive and motivation meets Sagittarius’s vision and inspiration. Over the next six weeks we’re fighting for what we believe in, setting off on a journey of discovery, sharing our flame as well as our passion.
Now that the Sun is in Sagittarius, it meets up with Saturn in Pisces to form a square, an energy that’s been known to create roadblocks, but also the necessary push back in order for us to take a positive step up. It’s a day for accountability and maturity.
The Sun leaves Scorpio for Sagittarius and we step into the light after a deep inner examination. Mars isn’t far behind, arriving in Sagittarius a couple days later. Both planets meet up with the energies of Saturn in Pisces, a heavy lift as we go into a new season.
Saturn’s now direct in Pisces. We’re at a structural point for the year, one where life wants to consolidate and build upon a theme. We’re feeling the call to show our maturity, that we can handle more responsibility, and that we take our commitments seriously.
Saturn is on the verge of turning direct, a checkpoint for the year. Time to step into new responsibilities, for an area of our lives to take shape and take form. We’re being required to build and construct, but we’re also seeing the fruits of our hard work.
Welcome to November! As we start the month, we’re preparing for Saturn to turn direct in Pisces. We may feel Saturn’s push to consolidate, take responsibility, and step into roles of maturity and authority. It’s also a structural point for the year.
