Welcome to Aries Season. We’re officially in a new astrological year and Aries has the honor of being the first sign. For that it’s a season of new beginnings, a time to move forward, a time for vitality. Ruled by the planet Mars, Aries connects us with courage.

We’ve been having our first big check in with Saturn during this new Saturn in Capricorn era. Which is to say that, this has been a week to make big plans and think about how we’re going to go level up in our maturity, ambition, achievement.
Should I stay or should I go? We may be asking ourselves that as Venus comes up to a date with Uranus. Do we powerfully break free or do we double down and commit? And, as a result, we may be feeling pulled in two directions in our relationships.
It’s still a week dominated by Saturn, a planet that wants you to hustle — hustle to earn a living, hustle to show maturity, hustle to be self sufficient. And we’re reminded that success and achievement are often born of crisis. Saturn is pushing you to react, take command.
A Leo Moon energizes the start of our week, adding fuel to Aries Season. We want to rush forward with new ideas, but we’ve got Saturn calling the shots. Slow and steady wins the race. Saturn wants a plan and it also wants responsibility and commitment.
We start the weekend with some spicy energy. Venus in Aries comes up to a seductive square with Pluto, showing us the darker side of love, from power and control to taboo. Plus, the Sun and Mars are heating up, bringing issues in our relationships to the forefront.
Mercury turns retrograde in Aries. Despite wanting to, we can’t rush, we can’t cut corners. Saturn will be keeping a close watch during this retrograde. Everything has to be methodical and to its exacting standards … or we’ll quickly see the consequences.
