Happy Full Moon in Pisces! This is the time of the year when we release our intentions that support compassion, unity consciousness, divine inspiration, and a connection to something beyond the physical world. Seeds planet during March’s spectacular Pisces New Moon have now come to fruition. This full moon is exact on 9/19/2013, 7:13 am EDT, and at 26 degrees of Pisces/Virgo.
This full moon arrives in a week where we’ve already had a cardinal grand cross, a Venus/Saturn conjunction on the North Node of the Moon, and a Pluto station. By astrology standards, that’s a lot. And so here we have the full moon, a time that is already emotionally charged, on top of all this psychic agita. You’d be forgiven for needing to catch your breath. Never mind that the equinox is only days away.
At the heart of the Virgo/Pisces axis is this leap from the everyday world into the spiritual beyond. A Full Moon in Pisces is a reminder to not get lost in the overly exacting details of Virgo, that we need to leave room in our lives for magic, day dreams, music, and inspiration, balancing out the mundane with the mystical. The Virgo/Pisces axis also speaks to healing and with Chiron and Neptune in Pisces now, the healing that we’re doing is of a level heretofore unavailable.
While the full moon is not directly aspected in the chart above, the rulers or dispositors of the full moon are forming a cardinal grand cross with Uranus and Pluto. There’s a lot of push with this full moon as it taps into the power of the Uranus/Pluto square. And on a Pluto station no less, which is like saying “Uranus Square Pluto! Now With 100% More Pluto!” Just what we wanted.
What we need to take away from this full moon is that we have a powerful opportunity to let go. If the Pluto station is reminding us that we need to surrender to the inevitable, Pisces reminds us that the ultimate surrender is forgiveness and seeing the world through our Christed/crystalline eyes. Stripped of our egos, our vanities, our petty hurts and grievances, we return from whence we came, to the spiritual river that birthed us all.
