The Moon crosses into Aquarius and we’re getting ready for the full moon. Over the next few days the spotlight is on friendships, community, and the groups we align ourselves with. If you’re feeling disconnected, how will you reach out to friends this week?
We start the week with a Capricorn Moon, one that highlights duty and responsibility, commitment and structure. This is a Moon that not only likes to work, but needs to build towards the future. What are your goals? Not just for this week, but for beyond?
We go into the weekend on the cusp of planetary shifts. Both Jupiter and Uranus change direction, which means that we may see an area or two of our lives switch gears. That said, Jupiter highlights themes of faith, meaning. Uranus upends the status quo.
Venus in Leo cozies up with Jupiter in Sagittarius. It’s a day to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, its luxuries, as well as its adventures. Venus and Jupiter can bring luck and opportunity. But we’re still feeling restless, a little agitated. Uranus turns retrograde August 11.
The Sun and Jupiter harmonize. It’s a day to be open to adventure, travel, and the call of something greater than ourselves. For that Jupiter touches on themes of faith, wisdom, and belief. Jupiter helps us to see the world so we can understand ourselves better.
The Moon moves into Scorpio and it’s all about intimacy and trust over the next couple of days. Scorpio is a sign that likes to get to the psychological heart of things, even if it means being uncomfortable. With Mars in Leo, we may be feeling a little touchy, too.
We start the week off with a Libra Moon, one that prioritizes relationships and connections. With the Libra Moon touching on recent eclipse degrees, pay attention to what’s going on today. as we navigate events that may feel fated or powerful in some way.
The Virgo Moon takes us into the weekend, a Moon that’s all about practical details. Actually, we could use Virgo’s earthy energy after the July 31 Leo New Moon and all its fire and creative vision. If you’re feeling inspired, use today to hammer out a plan.
Welcome to August! We not only kick things off with a fiery, confident Leo New Moon, but Mercury is now direct. It was a bit of a wobbly end to July, wasn’t it? Now that we’re firmly entrenched in Leo Season, we can work on getting our groove back.
The Moon rounds out its time in Cancer and we’re in the dark of the moon. It’s a time to reflect and get quiet. Since we’re wrapping up a lunar month with two eclipses, take a moment to reflect on the doors that have closed … and opened in July.
The Sun comes up to a square to Uranus in Taurus today, an aspect that’s been known to be restless, electric, and even impulsive. We can’t hold back anymore. We can’t make ourselves small any longer. We need to open up to a higher version of ourselves.
