Welcome to Sagittarius Season! We turn the page in our zodiac calendar and arrive in a month dedicated to exploration, adventure, and travel. Sagittarius inspires us to get out into the world, to look at life through a philosophical lens, and cultivate wisdom.
In fact, we’ve gained this wisdom that Sagittarius is famous for by going through the emotional trials of Scorpio Season. We know what our truth is and we’re seeking out new horizons. We may be planning a long distance or foreign trip, too.
That said, sometimes Sagittarius’s natural confidence isn’t so easy to reach for. If we’ve been struggling with questions of faith and meaning, then the coming four weeks is a time to dedicate ourselves to search for answers. We may be looking towards different traditions or different viewpoints, all in the quest for truth.
Over the last year Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, has been right at home in Sagittarius. So, as we step into this new season, we’re revisiting a year long story that we’ve been working through around faith. With Neptune in Pisces making a long square to Jupiter this year, there have been times when we’ve lost our faith, questioned meaning, and had our confidence eroded.
In these last days of Jupiter in Sagittarius, can we reconnect with something greater than ourselves? Can we find hope again? (Jupiter arrives in Capricorn on December 2 for a year long stay.)
In other news, we start the weekend with a Libra Moon, one that needs to socialize and connect with friends or like minded allies. It’s also a day to reach out to community and see the bigger picture.
Note that the Libra Moon picks up on a luxurious, abundant, and indulgent conjunction of Venus and Jupiter this weekend. But, once the Moon moves into Scorpio on Sunday, we’re also feeling a confrontational opposition between Mars in Scorpio and Uranus in Taurus. Sometimes, in order to get what we want, we need to get out of our comfort zone or be willing to upend the status quo.
