Mercury, as it rounds its way out of Libra, makes a square to Saturn. We have to chose our words wisely. We’re weighing serious options. Is it a yes or a no? Saturn can reveal a need for boundaries, discernment, or more maturity.
As I mentioned in my video update for this week, Mercury makes a series of tense aspects to Pluto, Saturn, and Mars. Since Mercury is the planet of communication as well as choices, we may be navigating intense or revealing conversations. Or, in the case of Saturn, we’re negotiating boundaries or needing to look at our relationships with a more critical eye. Saturn can even bring milestones and achievements. (Geminis and Virgos may be feeling this in particular since Mercury is their planet.)
Come tomorrow Mercury makes an opposition to Mars, an aspect that can be confrontational and argumentative … but it can also be dynamic and lively. Take a look at what stories you’re sorting through this week and how it’s connected to something bigger. (Mercury will return to this part of the sky in late October, early November. Something from this week may not be resolved until then.)
In other news, the Moon wraps up its time in Sagittarius, arriving in Capricorn later today. As a result, we’re touching on matters of faith, truth, and meaning. We’re also looking out into the world, searching for answers or inspiration from far flung lands. Communication may key today as well.
