Moon moves into Taurus and we’re slowing down, enjoying the good life. With Venus over in Libra, make sure you’re taking in the sweetness of things. It’s a day to focus on money and value, love and connection. An old relationship issue may be bubbling up, too.
The Taurus Moon highlights today’s opposition between Venus in Libra and Chiron in Aries. Chiron helps us to see the subtext or hidden side of things, the old patterns or even the wounds that effect how we interact with life. Since Venus is the planet of relationships and value, we may be feeling an old ache around being loved enough or valued enough. Try to heal if you can. In my weekly Facebook Live video yesterday, I talked about two very different energies playing out this week — Saturn’s direct turn in Capricorn versus Jupiter square Neptune. Saturn is the planet of cold, hard reality while Jupiter and Neptune speak to deeper existential themes. How do we stay grounded while questioning everything or even feeling confused?
Thus is this push-pull between the material world and the spiritual world has us navigating an interesting dynamic. How do we tend to our human lives while nurturing our spiritual ones as well? How do we find peace in our human lives, detaching and deidentifying from the things or situations that bring us suffering? Sounds a little Buddhist, but it’s a week to find zen after all the recent existential ups and downs.
Speaking of Saturn, the planet of lessons, rules, and master turns direct tomorrow at 13 Capricorn. I know my love of Saturn is a hard sell, but I only love Saturn because what it’s trying to teach us is beautiful in its simplicity. Honor time. Honor our commitments and our word. Honor the process. Set goals and work hard to achieve them. Maturity isn’t something that’s gained overnight, but this week we’re taking a step forward towards it.
This is also your last call for tonight’s webinar, Facing Saturn: Learn to Master Your Life. In it I’m going to explain more why Saturn is an undervalued planet and why, depending on when you were born, it gives you a roadmap towards success and achievement. Details and registration here. You can still register to receive the video and audio replay if you cannot attend live.
