Happy Monday! Overshadowed by Jupiter’s arrival in Libra on Friday was the last of three squares between Saturn and Neptune, two planets can couldn’t be more different. If Saturn is the physical world and our mastery over it, then Neptune is the slow erosion of our ambitions, our plans, and even the foundation our lives are built upon.

The Moon is currently straddling two Saturn ruled signs today, highlighting this tug between Saturn square Neptune even more. I think one of the big — if not subtle — expressions of this square is the breakdown of barriers in our life. Saturn in Sagittarius has us questioning our faith. But Neptune in Pisces exposes us to truths that veer wildly into the unknown, esoteric, and mystical. Saturn square Neptune is an act of surrender to forces beyond our physical reality. It also opens us up to something we may have not been previously open to last year. Maybe the dam has been unleashed.

The three Saturn/Neptune squares were:

November 26, 2015 – 7 degrees Sagittarius/Pisces
June 17, 2016 – 12 degrees Sagittarius/Pisces
September 10, 2016 – 10 degrees Sagittarius/Pisces
